There are few moments during any given year that truly make us pause to reflect on what we have accomplished, or even more significantly, gently force us to consider what we would like to achieve in the coming year than New Year’s Eve.

On this New Year’s Eve, I am reflecting on City Paper hitting personal company records like most shipments out of the warehouse in one day. In a single day alone, our warehouse team shipped out over 750 packages to customers all over the United States.

We began a transition to new order processing systems, which will be officially completed in Q1 of 2026. These conversions will allow us to provide faster service, more efficient and accurate billing, and improved data to better serve our customers.

Our team grew. We hired and brought new faces into the City Paper family.

We also are saying farewell to one very important employee who has dedicated over 20 years to City Paper. Diane Gore has been an instrumental member of our team who has worked tirelessly to support our packaging sales. There are no words for how grateful we are for all she has done to make us a better company and help us serve our customers. Diane, you will be missed!  We wish you all the best in retirement!

It is not often we stop to reflect. As I do so today, I am truly overwhelmed with gratitude and appreciation.

To the vendors who help us make it all happen, thank you for putting it all out there to help us meet some crazy requests (and we had some crazy ones this year).

To our customers who put their trust into us a company, thank you for believing in us and helping us be better every day. Your challenging us to improve and grow is what keeps us relevant and inspired.

And to our fantastic City Paper team, just wow. Not only are you the cream of the crop, but the way you work together, problem solve, step up when situations get tough, and support one another is truly amazing. Thank you for showing up with a great attitude. Thank you for putting your best foot forward.  And thank you for making City Paper the company it is. Thank you.

Cheers to dreaming big in 2026!  What a year!
